Prospect Creek State School has a long history of providing quality educational outcomes for students. We are proud of the achievements of our students and staff members. Prospect Creek students consistently perform well in testing and competitions, as individuals and in teams. We are very proud of these achievements and we make a point of celebrating them on social media, on our website, on our school sign, at parades and in our fortnightly newsletter.

Prospect Creek's academic success has been consistently recognised in the Central Queensland Region. Our strongly embedded pedagogical approaches shapes consistent evidence-based practices across all classrooms and has contributed to our performance outcomes.

Our school has a strong improvement focus and we set rigorous targets for further improvements. Prospect Creek's strategic plan and annual implementation plan (AIP) contain more details about our aspirations for future improvements. The annual implementation plan is a meaningful record of achievement, and a statement of direction that meets school and systemic requirements. It is a planning document developed by the principal in collaboration with the school and community, based on the school strategic plan and departmental strategic documents. The AIP establishes direction for the coming 12 months, whilst the strategic plan is the longer term planning document setting the direction for a four year period.
